29th November 2003 Windsurfing: Poole Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: Dropping!! Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: Weather: Cloudy with some rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Arrived late as JaneBo was not to well when we woke up. Forecast said mad early and settling down in PM. For once forecast was right (sadly as we did not arrive until later). BEFS and WES had already had some maxed out sessions when we arrived. I rigged a 6M, but the wind was dropping as I rigged. Got a few poor runs in gusty conditions and never really got settled. Spent ages trying to water-start (not enough wind) and then got serious cramp. Came in and watched the wind drop further. BEFS and Wes went back out with 7 and 8 respectivly and had a couple of very good runs. I could not get motivated to re-rig and launch again (Wes you were right, I am a wimp!) Really wanted a good session as it is ages since I have been out, but it was not to be. One star is "a waste of time", but I still prefer getting wet so it gets two. I really need a good session soon :-( |
